Dana Charity Auction
[“Dāna” ( 檀那 in mandarin ) is a sanskrit term meaning generosity.
It is more blessed to give than to receive. We may not be lavishly wealthy but there are many who are less fortunate compared to us. While we may not be able to change the world, we are certainly able to spread positive vibes through charity. We aim not for glory or fame, we only hope to realise our intention of helping the less fortunate. May our gesture plant the seed of kindness in them, that they may show generosity to others in time of need.] - quoted from Dāna facebook group.
This charity group was initiated by a friend with a heart of gold, Dr. Ooi Bee Yen. Her aim is very simple, to share joy with the less fortunate. She organized the first charity auction beginning of this year, with the help and donation from friends and family, she managed to collect some fund which was later distributed to some charity organizations locally.

The organizations benefited from this charity auction were Pusat Pemulihan Dalam Komunity Seberang Jaya, Rumah Pertubuhan Kebajikan Harapan Baru and a family with a Down Syndrome child.
The chain effect from this charity auction, some friends and family started their dana with their own initiatives.
Moving forward from previous charity auction, Dāna is organizing the second Charity Auction this year and the gain from this auction will be channeled to the unfortunate in India. Dr. Ooi will personally fly to India end of this year to channel the gain from this auction to the needy in India without going through any third party. This way, we can be assured that the effort from this project will be optimized to help the beneficiary.
This round, BeWellTy together with Love Life Journey and Shishoki Production are glad to be part of this meaningful event. Shishoki Production, as the venue sponsor is so generous to prepare a comfy place for us to carry out the auction. On the day, besides the charity auction, Love Life Journey will lead our mind to a place of serene with a brief meditation while BeWellTy will be there to share some health info to lead a healthy life.
