Serve: 2
Difficulty: Not too tricky
Cooks in: 30 minutes
Ingredient:
350 gram salmon (divide into 2 pcs)
2 cup brocolli
Steamed calrose rice:
0.5 cup calrose rice (Japanese rice)
1 cup water
Teriyaki sauce:
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 tbsp light soy sauce
2 clove garlic (chopped)
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tspn corn starch

Method:
1. Start by cooking rice. When the rice is almost done, place the brocolli on top of the rice to steam for about 10 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, pan fry the salmon with olive oil at medium heat, until it's golden brown at both side (about 3 minutes each side). Then set aside.
3. With the same frying pan, saute the garlic for about 1 minute. Then add the brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil and water (keep 1 tbsp for cornstarch mixture). Simmer until the brown sugar dissolves.
5. In a small bowl, mix 1 tbsp of water with cornstarch then add to the simmering sauce and allow the sauce to thicken.
6. Arrange pan fried salmon along side with calrose rice and brocolli and pour the teriyaki sauve over salmon.
7. Serve hot.
